The Temple

Done in 2008, this temple was designed using Monkey Forest Temple in Indonesia for inspiration. It was my first full model that I had made. It's made with a foam core skeleton covered in plaster of paris, and painted with a texture paint and acrylic paints. The statues and koi are all made by hand using sculpey and then painted using acrylic paints. The plants are all artificial foliage. The water is semi-permanant floral water and super glue (the coating of the fountain).
