Rex

Finished in 2008, Rex made his appearance in "Reaction." He's a found object puppet that looks a lot like a Mammoth bred with a Tyrannosaurus Rex, hence the name. He's constructed with a garden hose, a lime press, fake nails, rubber door stops, clothes pins, earphones, an over-the-door coat hanger, micro fiber cloth, paper fans and matchboxes rigged up using the drawers to emulate breathing. The eyes were taken off a frog change purse I found and propoxy was used for the kneecaps and the eyelids. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of emotion I was able to pull from him.
