Koala Series

Koala Joe is the first installment of the 2009 Koala series. Many concept sketches were done for an idea I had using koalas and I then decided to sculpt some maquettes for the concepts. He's only about 5 inches tall and has nails made of sharp wires. You can view more of the conceptual sketches for the koala series in the sketchbook section of the traditional art link of my website.
