Gus

Made for "Love is Blind" in March 2009, Gus is a goofy yet thoughtful goat. The maquette (the top 6 pictures) were 3d reference fro the puppe(the bottom 2 pictures). The maquette is made of super sculpey with a rough wire armature and aluminum foil inside. The finished puppet is made with an intermediate armature covred with foam (using the foam build-up technique) and then covered in latex. His feet, body blocks and eyes are made of resin casts and his glasses are made from bronze tubing and plexiglass.
